Spaces and Facilities

This service is only available at the South Campus library. Application forms are available from the Cash Office in the South Campus Library. Lockers and study cubicles must be renewed annually. 

Lockers - Fees

Lockers are available to all students. It is located in the Basement of the South Campus Library.

• R100.00 per year of which R70.00 is allocated as a deposit for the Key.
• R70.00 will be refunded to your Student Account on the return of the key.

Study Cubicles - Fees

Cubicles are available to postgraduate students only. The Study Cubicles are located on the first floor of the South Campus Library.

• R200.00 per year
• Rent is payable in advance.
• Additional Rental of R20.00 - Dec/Jan.

Students should apply from September until the end of January of the following year. Cubicles are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis according to the level of study (e.g. D.Com, M Com, and B.Com Honors) during February each year. There are only 28 cubicles available, so not everyone will be successful with the application. Unsuccessful applicants will go on a waiting list for the current year but must reapply for the following year.

Lost Keys

If a key is lost, a replacement fee of R30.00 is payable.
