How to install EndNote 21 (Windows)

The following section only applies to private devices. If you have a Mandela University device, please see the relevant tutorial

1. Before you install EndNote 21:

Create a folder on your computer's C drive and name it: EndNote 21 Installation

2. If you are off campus, make sure you are connected to the Mandela VPN. The credentials on the form says to use NMMU\Username, but it should be MANDELA\username.

3. Copy the following link and paste it in a separate browser tab or window to access installation:

file:\\scorpio.nmmu.ac.za/public$\endnote

4. Window users, click here

5. Click on zip file

6. Download file

7. Copy Folder

8. Paste this folder into the folder you created under no. 1

Paste into install folder

9. Double click on the above folder.

Click install file

Please Note: Close all Microsoft Office product, Outlook, Word, etc. before installing EndNote.

How to install EndNote 21 (MAC)
