Transformative Agreements (TA) are negotiated license agreements in which former subscriptions are repurposed and channeled to support Open Access Publishing. At Nelson Mandela University the library aims to make published research open access(OA) for all and to assist our researchers and emerging researchers with article processing charges (APCs) when choosing to publish open access. We have TEN signed TAs at Nelson Mandela University, each publisher has its business model.
