Components: Author. Year. Title of article. Title of newspaper, day and month:page reference.
Example: Wilson, G. 2017. Two men slain, one critical in vigilante attacks. The Herald, 22 August:1, 3.
Notes:
The day and month is included after the newspaper title. Title of the newspaper is italicized. If the newspaper’s name starts with “The,” include it in italics.
If an article appears on discontinuous pages, give all page numbers, and separate the numbers with a comma (e.g. 1, 3, 5). |
Example:
Wilson (2017:1) said ... … (Wilson, 2017:3). |
