Transformative agreements are contracts negotiated between institutions and publishers that transform the business model underlying scholarly publishing towards a fully open access model.

Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC Gold) – 4 year agreement from 2024-2027

The Royal Scociety of Chemistry (RCS) is a not-for-profit organisation for the advancement of the chemical sciences. They publish journals that cover the core chemical sciences and related fields such as biology, energy and the environment, engineering, materials, medicine, and physics.

This agreement allows authors affiliated with participating institutions to publish open access in any of the RCS journals without paying articles processing charges.
